From designer deadstock and expertly woven in Europe, this yarn-dyed boucle is a classic beauty. A virgin wool and cotton blend with a tight weave and a fluffy woolen feel. Soft black and winter white yarns with the signature boucle curl form an intricate and novel rendition of houndstooth (about 1" pattern repeat) with lots of surface texture and interest. It is a heavier suiting or coating weight, substantial with a bit of heft, a dry hand and some cottony firmness in the drape. Make a stunning and classic jacket or coat, special occasion suiting, etc. Dry cleaning is recommended, but if you choose to handwash please test first.
